AOC Air Force Station Kanpur, Commanding Officers and personnel of Recipient Units for the award of President's Colours and successful conduct of the grand ceremonial event held on March 11.  
Air Vice Marshal visited Main Hangar Line Division, Rotable Division of Base Repair Depots and Site I, II and III of 29 Equipment Depot.  AVM interacted with the Air Warriors of the Station and expressed satisfaction on maintenance and production activities carried out by the Depots. 
Air Vice Marshal Kuldeep Sharma was given a detailed presentation by CO 1 Base Repair Depot  and CO 29 Equipment Depot on 'AN - 32','Production and Support Management'.  by discussion on Techno- Logistics issues. 
Air Vice Marshal Kuldeep Sharma, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal, Senior Maintenance Staff Officer (SMSO), Western Air Command, Indian Air Force arrived on a visit to Air Force Station Kanpur. 
Airbus Defence and Space has been selected by Singapore to supply six A330 MRTT new generation air-to-air refuelling aircraft for the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF).
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited applications from "unmarried male Indian citizens  for selection as Airmen in  Group (X) Trades  of IAF. Education Qualification is Class 10 plus two years or equivalent examination in any stream or subjects approved by the Central or State Education Boards  with a minimum of 50 percentage marks aggregate. Candidates should be born between 01 February 1994 to 30 November 1997.
They will visit Kahjjiar, Chamba and Bharmour for 7 days, Group Caption Rajiv Talwar, Station Commander Air Force Station Rajasansi.
Beside creating goodwill among the public, the aim of this exercise was to enhance the spirit of comradeship and teamwork among the Air Warriors and develop mental toughness, courage and spirit of adventure, Group Captain.

The students were also made aware about various career opportunities in IAF. Students very enthusiastically enquired about the career progression in IAF and showed their keen interest in acquiring information regarding joining Indian Air Force. It was quite a good motivational visit for the school children which would inspire and motivate them to choose IAF as a challenging career.
The major attraction being an exposure to the AN-32 aircraft kept as a part of the display. The students were given enough exposure to various types of equipments and modern technical equipments of IAF.
Some 2000 boys and girl students from various reputed local schools of the city visited Air Force Station, Kanpur for witnessing the display. The students were very enthusiastic and keen to know the various types of equipments used in Indian Air Force. 
Indian Air Force is celebrating its 81st anniversary on October 8. To mark this occasion, a series of functions are being organised at Air Force Station, Kanpur. One of it is static display of various types of aircraft, military weapons and modern equipments for the school children.
In the run up to 81st Air Force Day celebrations, headquarters Central Air Command (CAC) organised a trekking adventure. The event was flagged off by Air Marshal J Chauhan AVSM VSM ADC AOC-in-C CAC at diamond jubilee sports complex Bamrauli. Harminder Chauhan, president Air Force Wives Welfare Association (regional) was also present on the occasion.
Air Marshal Paramjit Singh Gill, Air Officer Commanding- in- Chief (   AOC-in-C ), Training Command visited 1 Technical Type Training School Air Force Station High Grounds today.

AID TO CIVIL POWER WORLD RECORDS LIMCA RECORD HOLDERS Air Marshal VK Bhatia PVSM, AVSM, VrC & Bar  was the first Indian who dared a tandem skydiving jump in India at the age of 56 yrs.
