Indian Air Force Recruitment 2013 – Group X (Technical) Vacancies in Assam: Indian Air Force has issued notification for conducting recruitment rally for unmarried Male citizens from all the districts of states of Assam, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura to become airmen for the Group X (Technical) Trades. Name of the Trades:
1. Automobile Fitter
2. Electronics Fitter
3. Electrical Fitter
4. Mechanical System Fitter
5. Structures Fitter
6. Propulsion Fitter
7. Workshop Fitter (Smith)
8. Workshop Fitter (Mechanical)
9. Weapon Fitter
Age Limit: Candidates should be born between 01-02-1994 to 31-05-1997 (both days inclusive). Candidates upper age limit should be 21 years on date of enrolment.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English, with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. or three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written test, physical fitness test and interview and medical examination.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can attend for Recruitment Rally with HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Gum tube, Stapler and Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for writing and seven copies of recent passport-size colour photograph, two unstamped self addressed 24×10 cm white envelopes of good quality and original and three photostat copies of all educational certificates, marks sheets and Domicile Certificate as well as NCC certificates (if applicable) at Golaghat District Sports Association Complex (GDSA), Golaghat (Assam) from 21-10-2013 to 23-10-2013 from 07:00 AM onwards. Candidates reporting upto 10AM at the Rally venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Rally.
